Litecoin transfers move LTC between addresses using transaction outputs. A network fee is paid in LTC, and the recipient may require several block confirmations before crediting a deposit.
A transfer follows four stages. Review the details before signing, then follow the transaction on the selected network.
Use the recipient’s deposit instructions. Match the network and, for tokens, the contract, mint or asset identifier.
Verify the complete address and any required memo or tag. Confirm the amount, deposit minimum and available fee balance.
Check the recipient, network, amount and fee in the signing application. Signing authorizes the transfer; never enter a recovery phrase to receive funds.
Save the transaction hash or signature. Check its execution result and confirmation status before relying on the recipient’s credited balance.
These parameters describe the network, not an address to send funds to. Address prefixes are examples and do not validate a destination.
An ordinary transfer stays on the selected chain. Moving assets to another blockchain requires a compatible bridge or service and a separate review of fees, destination assets and settlement.
The wallet estimates the fee before signing. Transaction size, inputs and current network conditions affect the quote. Keep enough balance for both the payment and its fee.
The network has received the transaction. A transaction identifier alone does not prove success.
Check successful execution and the network’s confirmation or finality status. A failed transaction does not deliver the intended payment.
The receiving service applies its deposit rules. Network confirmation and an exchange account credit may happen at different times.
Fees and completion times vary. Use a current fee estimate and the recipient’s confirmation requirements; no fixed arrival time is guaranteed.
